Technological Solutions Without the Wait
CAD/CAM dentistry—known as “Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing”—has improved the designing and creation of dental restorations since the 1980s. With this advanced technology, our doctors are able to conduct an examination, digitally send the information to our in-house lab and craft ceramic prostheses for you to walk out wearing all in the exact same day. Used for restorations, such as crowns, inlays and onlays, fixed bridges and veneers, CAD/CAM allows us to turn 3-D scans of problematic teeth into real-life dental solutions. Because we do not rely on external lab services, we are able to design, create and apply specialized restorations all in one simple visit.
Safe, Quick Restorations with CEREC
Constructing, producing and inserting ceramic restorations in one visit is possible! CEREC—gaining its name from “CEramic REConstructions”—is a method of CAD/CAM dentistry that allows for the production of chairside dental restorations, and ultimately, same day crowns. After a careful examination with an intraoral camera, information is sent to our in-house lab, and our doctors are able to create a ceramic crown or other restoration during the timeframe of your appointment. This eliminates multiple appointments, and allows for immediate restorations to be inserted in one appointment.
