A: At your first visit, we will greet you and provide all of the appropriate information needed regarding our practice. If you would like to save some time, you can fill out, print out and bring your patient information form, located here, to your first appointment. During your visit, you will meet with one of our doctors to discuss your oral health goals. We will take x-rays, provide a periodontal screening and comprehensive exam, and discuss any necessary treatment regarding your oral health. Together, we can decide the best course of action to take in achieving and maintaining your healthy smile for years to come.
A: According to the American Dental Association, you should be brushing your teeth at least three times a day, and flossing daily. If you are concerned that your brushing technique is not correct, we can provide instruction on the best, most effective methods to use for homecare.
A: Gum disease may seem difficult to detect because it typically begins below the gum line, and happens over time. If you are experiencing bad breath, gum inflammation or bleeding when you brush and floss your teeth, you may have the early symptoms. We will evaluate the health of your gums at each and every appointment.
